Resources

At Our Haven, we provide more than just programs—we offer H.O.P.E.:
Health, Opportunity, Pathways, and Empowerment.

Our Haven for Vets is a dedicated program offering mentorship and comprehensive support to the families of service members. We also provide specialized programs for children whose lives have been profoundly affected by veterans living with PTSD, particularly in households facing substance abuse or domestic violence.

Our services are thoughtfully designed to help women, youth, and families rise above unsafe environments and build brighter, more stable futures. Taking a holistic, community centred approach, we focus on healing, education, housing, and personal growth—empowering individuals and families alike. Every service we offer is rooted in compassion and aimed at creating lasting, positive change, so those we support can thrive today and lead with confidence tomorrow.

No Gray Areas

Founded by WNBA athlete Reshanda Gray, dedicated to empowering young women and girls from underprivileged communities. Drawing from her own experiences growing up in South Central Los Angeles, Gray established NGA to provide love, support, and opportunities at critical decision-making points in their lives. Through academic, social, and athletic programs, NGA creates safe spaces and offers financial assistance, including scholarships and community enrichment events, to help bridge opportunity gaps. While based in California, NGA's impact extends nationally and internationally, striving to uplift and inspire young women to realize their full potential.

Hope In A Suitcase

Dedicated to supporting foster children in Los Angeles. The organization provides personalized suitcases or duffel bags filled with new essentials and comfort items to children entering the foster care system, ensuring they have the basic necessities and a sense of dignity during a difficult time.

In addition to distributing suitcases, Hope in a Suitcase offers a Hope Boutique and Shopping Days, where social workers and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) can select items for children in urgent need. Tweens and teens with active DCFS cases are also invited to free shopping events.

Serving over 3,000 foster children annually, Hope in a Suitcase helps ease the transition into foster care and instills a sense of belonging and self-worth.
